A KLT SUMMER SERIES EVENT

You are invited on Friday, August 19 at 7:30 for an evening of bat discovery at the University of Idaho research property in beautiful Sandpoint, Idaho. Join our team of biologists capturing and identifying our local bat species under a starlit night. This memorable event is for kids young and old and will be a highlight of your 2016 summer.

Did you know:

Bats are the only mammals capable of true flight. With extremely elongated fingers and a wing membrane stretched between, the bat’s wing anatomically resembles the human hand. Almost 1,000 bat species can be found worldwide. In fact, bats make up a quarter of all mammal species on earth!
