Kaniksu Folk School is a new initiative by KLT that aims to enrich lives and foster an ethic of stewardship through the sharing of traditional crafts and music. In these small-group sessions, you’ll be able to learn from qualified artisan crafters. Season 1 includes six classes which run March 20th through May 15th. Classes include: Pack Basket Weaving, Spoon Carving, Leather Tooling, Buckskin Leather Crafting, Drop Spindle Wool Spinning, and Nature Connection for You & Your Children.
All classes are designed for adults and take place at the Pine Street Woods Outdoor Recreation Center.
