KLT's Camp Kaniksu

Camp Kaniksu is a nature-based summer camp offered by Kaniksu Land Trust and designed to be affordable and accessible for all children in our community. Our education programs are designed to inspire the next generations of Americans to learn about and protect wildlife and the natural world.

Camp Kaniksu 2019

During Camp Kaniksu, kids will spend their days learning and playing in nature. This year's activities will include: making natural shelters, fire by friction, harvesting plants/plant salves, WildCrafting, primitive cooking, sensory awareness games, tracking and plaster casts, capture the flag and camouflaging, bird language, archery and throwing sticks, and naturalist training.

Camp Kaniksu will be held at Pine Street Woods, and sessions run from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Lunch and snacks are provided for all participants. The cost of the first four sessions is $80. "Wild Ones" includes an overnight on Aug. 8 and costs $100 for the week. Half and full scholarships are available, please contact us at (208) 263-9471 if you need a scholarship. 

Participation is limited to one session per child.
