KLT's Camp Kaniksu

Camp Kaniksu is a nature-based summer camp offered by Kaniksu Land Trust and designed to be affordable and accessible for all children in our community. Our education programs inspire our youth to learn about and protect wildlife and the natural world.

Camp Kaniksu 2020

During Camp Kaniksu, kids will spend their days learning and playing in nature. This year's activities will include: making natural shelters, fire by friction, harvesting plants/plant salves, WildCrafting, primitive cooking, sensory awareness games, tracking and plaster casts, capture the flag and camouflaging, bird language, archery and throwing sticks, and naturalist training.

Camp Kaniksu is held at Pine Street Woods, and sessions run from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Lunch and snacks are provided for all participants. Scholarships are available to cover the cost of camp participation.
