Last spring, Sandpoint Nordic Club and Kaniksu Land Trust received a grant from the Blue Cross Foundation to build an outdoor recreation center at Pine Street Woods. KLT is in search of volunteers who would like to help introduce new people to Pine Street Woods. PSW trail ambassadors will spend two hours on weekend days exploring Pine Street Woods and educating new visitors about trails, experiences and Kaniksu Land Trust. All trail ambassadors will attend an orientation session at Pine Street Woods

KLT is in need of experienced volunteers to help with trail work at Pine Street Woods! Work days will be August 23-25, from 8:00 am -12:00 pm and from 12:00 – 4:00 pm each day. We need people with their own chain saws and people who can haul brush and feed it into the chipper.
