This is the best day ever!

The Pine Street Sled Hill is OPEN

With the early March snow we were able to re-open the sled hill. As we enter freeze thaw please be mindful of the parking lot condition and enter with caution.

Please enjoy these photos of opening day at the Sled Hill.

We were grateful this year that after 4 years of stillness, the Pine Street Sledding Hill was open to the public! Its decades-long legacy continues as families return to the iconic community playground that is now protected FOREVER.

Thanks to the City of Dover, our Low Impact Use Permit was approved so that we could invite people to play - even before our master plan is complete.

SLED HILL GUIDELINES

There are some important guidelines to follow so that we are compliant with the permit. The parameters will change in the future, but for this season, please:

  • Arrange to carpool or walk whenever possible.

  • Heed the 20-vehicle parking lot limit.

  • Be a good neighbor and refrain from parking on Pine Street.

  • No sled, no problem. We will have sleds for loan.

  • Please, no tubes.

  • Use at your own risk.

Address: 11735 West Pine Street

A parking lot has been cleared with room for a maximum of 20 vehicles.
